UC brings ďAchieveĒ message to high schoolers

A systemwide effort brought UC leaders and admissions counselors into high schools around the state, encouraging about 10,000 students to aim for college, offering practical guidance on getting there.

UC Merced staffs’ design helps reduce campus waste

Merced Design

Two staff members designed a three-section bin for recyclables, compostable material and landfill items to address garbage issues in the library.  Now they hope to patent their invention and have it used elsewhere.
